Process Technologist

• Providing advice to the operational units on process technology issues.
• Challenging and guiding change in the installations.
• Acting as guardian of the safe design and operation of our installations.
• Provide input into technology selection to basic design packages.
• Providing other services, including leading process improvement studies, performance optimization, incident investigations, economic evaluations, technical audits and safety studies.
• Coaching less experienced staff.

Requirements:

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum ten (10) years experience in process engineering.
• Proven experience in petrochemical and/or refining technology, process design and operations.
• Hands-on experience in relevant process technologies – like Base Chemicals, PolyEthylene, Ethylene Glycol, Higher Olefins and Detergents, Styrene Monomer, Propylene Oxide, Polyols or Utilities (water treatment, steam and power generation, effluent treatment) preferred.

Process Engineer

• Developing capital projects from technology selection to basic design packages.
• Acting as guardian of the safe design of our installations.
• Providing start-up assistance as required.
• Proactively working on best practices, engineering guidelines and internal procedures, and maintaining internal and external networks to be informed of new developments in the field.
• Providing other services, including leading process improvement studies, performance optimization, incident investigations, economic evaluations, technical audits and safety studies.
• Coaching less experienced staff.

Requirements:

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in process engineering.
• Proven experience in petrochemical and/or refining technology, process design (and the necessary tools); past exposure to an operational environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in relevant process technologies – like Base Chemicals, PolyEthylene, Ethylene Glycol, Higher Olefins and Detergents, Styrene Monomer, Propylene Oxide, Polyols or Utilities (water treatment, steam and power generation, effluent treatment) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and work in multidisciplinary teams and be able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of initiative and independence.
