Process Technologist
Responsibilities:
- Providing advice to the operational units on process technology issues.
- Challenging and guiding change in the installations.
- Acting as guardian of the safe design and operation of our installations.
- Provide input into technology selection to basic design packages.
- Providing other services, including leading process improvement studies, performance optimization, incident investigations, economic evaluations, technical audits and safety studies.
- Coaching less experienced staff.
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum ten (10) years experience in process engineering.
- Proven experience in petrochemical and/or refining technology, process design and operations.
- Hands-on experience in relevant process technologies – like Base Chemicals, PolyEthylene, Ethylene Glycol, Higher Olefins and Detergents, Styrene Monomer, Propylene Oxide, Polyols or Utilities (water treatment, steam and power generation, effluent treatment) preferred.

Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Developing capital projects from technology selection to basic design packages.
- Acting as guardian of the safe design of our installations.
- Providing start-up assistance as required.
- Proactively working on best practices, engineering guidelines and internal procedures, and maintaining internal and external networks to be informed of new developments in the field.
- Providing other services, including leading process improvement studies, performance optimization, incident investigations, economic evaluations, technical audits and safety studies.
- Coaching less experienced staff.
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in process engineering.
- Proven experience in petrochemical and/or refining technology, process design (and the necessary tools); past exposure to an operational environment is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in relevant process technologies – like Base Chemicals, PolyEthylene, Ethylene Glycol, Higher Olefins and Detergents, Styrene Monomer, Propylene Oxide, Polyols or Utilities (water treatment, steam and power generation, effluent treatment) preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and work in multidisciplinary teams and be able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of initiative and independence.
