Our head office with departments for development and production of concrete block making machines and plants is situated in Andernach, between Frankfurt/M and Cologne. To support our technical team we are currently looking for an:

Automation Software Engineer (m/f)

Job Specifications:

• Programming of complex automated machinery
• Programming and parameterisation of drive converters
• Control of frequency and proportional drives
• Integration of HMI systems
• On-site installation and commissioning
• Supporting our customer 'hotline' system.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or equivalent in electrical/automation engineering
• Siemens Step 7 PLC programming skills
• Servo drives and frequency converter skills
• Experience of programming HMI systems
• Willingness to travel world-wide
• Good English language skills both written and spoken
• Team player
